1968 - Began studies under Master N Y Chung in
Chung Do Kwan at Wabash Valley College.
1973 - Began instructing Lynn Stangle, future president and founder of the TMA
1974 - Promoted to Chodan in 1974
1982 - Promoted to Edan in 1982
2001 - Promoted to Samdan by the American Martial Arts Association.
2002 - Officially recognized as Grandfather of the TMA
2002 - Inducted to the TMA as TMA Certified Instructor
2004 - Named as TMA Martial Arts Director, a special counsel to the TMA
president
2004 - Promoted to 4th Degree by a TMA panel.
In addition to studying the TMA curriculum, currently studying Shotokan, Yang
Style Tai Chi, and Kyusho Jitsu.
Certified to instruct under the World TKD Association, the ATA, AMO and most
recently the TMA.
