Stangle's TaeKwonDo

    Stangle's TaeKwonDo is located at 301 Main street in Vincennes, IN.  We encourage students to come in and watch a class.  Class times are Tuesdays at 6:30 PM and Saturdays at 10:00 AM.  Watching the class will give you a basic understanding on how things are run.  You will notice we answer with sir and ma'am whenever spoken to.  This encourages discipline and promotes listening. 

    Typically a class session will begin with the opening oath.  Then an instructor will lead the class through warm-up.  After warm-up we will begin some basic techniques and combinations of techniques.  This is the time in class where we work on refining ourselves.  Next the class is divided according to rank to work on forms, self defense, and required kicks for their belt level.  Finally, the white belts engage in sparring drill, while the colored belts line up for sparring practice.  Sparring in class is no-contact.

    At the end of class the students are asked to line back up for the closing oath.  We may, before lining up do some games from time to time because the martial arts are demanding, but they also need to be fun.
